This soccer drill builds off of the previous two soccer drills. It is set up the exact same way but this time two players will be run to the circle. The defensive player will make a pass to wither player in the air. The player that receives the ball will have to gain control under pressure from the defender and either make a pass or take a shot.
This soccer drill is run the same way as the previous drill. The objective is for players to receive the ball within two touches and release a shot on net. In this variation they have to do it while under pressure from the player that made the pass.
This soccer drill is fun and competitive. Set up two nets about 30 - 40 yards apart depending on the age group. Try to use the center circle as the middle of the field or set up a circle of discs about the same size at the mid point of the nets. Each plyaer will start with a ball on the goal line at the side of their net.
This soccer drill emphasizes the ability to read the movements of your teammates and make quick and accurate passes based off of those movements. 3 players are involved in each repetition of this soccer drill. Set up four discs as shown in the diagram at about the top of the box. The line with balls should be about 10 yards out.
Start with 3 or more teams of 2, 1 goalie, and one player on the flank. The soccer drill starts with the flank player who needs to drives a cross into the 18 yard box. The first team of 2 starts at the top of the 18 yard box and anticipates the cross. The player who receives the cross needs to put a shot on goal within 2 touches.
