Soccer Drills

All of our soccer drills have been animated using the latest software from TactX (in a partnership with UEFA) to provide 3D animations. 2 vs. 1 Outside Attack

This soccer drill is an extension of the previous drill. This time attackers from both lines will go at the same time. The goal for the defender is to keep the ball carrierr to the outside and make it tough for them to make a pass to the other attacker. The attacker should be trying to cross the ball or take a shot on net.

1 vs. 1 Outside Attack

This socer drill is focused on defenders maintaining good defensive positioning. The goal is for the defenders to force the attackers to the outside and not allow a shot from a good angle. To set up the soccer drill place two lines on each side of the net as shown. The inside line are the defenders and the outside line are attackers.

Two Touch 2 vs. 1 Shooting Challenge

This soccer drill builds off of the previous two soccer drills. It is set up the exact same way but this time two players will be run to the circle. The defensive player will make a pass to wither player in the air. The player that receives the ball will have to gain control under pressure from the defender and either make a pass or take a shot.

2 Touch Shooting Challenge vs. Defender

This soccer drill is run the same way as the previous drill. The objective is for players to receive the ball within two touches and release a shot on net. In this variation they have to do it while under pressure from the player that made the pass.

Two Touch Shooting Challenge

This soccer drill is fun and competitive. Set up two nets about 30 - 40 yards apart depending on the age group. Try to use the center circle as the middle of the field or set up a circle of discs about the same size at the mid point of the nets. Each plyaer will start with a ball on the goal line at the side of their net.

Clock Work Touch Passing

This soccer drill has to be executed with precision passes. Footwork, communication, accuracy, and touch are key for this soccer drill to function. Set up the drill as shown in the diagram. Each pass should be a one touch pass except for the final pass that is around the cones. On every pass the players should call for the ball and move after they make the pass.

Advanced Box Passing Drill

This soccer drill is set up the exact same way as the 1st touch box passing drill. This is just a variation geared towards advanced players. Each pass must be made in the air so the player receiving it is forced to use their chest or head to receive the ball. The goal is to receive the ball and maintain control within the discs or cones.

1st Touch Box Passing

This is a soccer passing drill that focuses on good control when receiving the pass. A minimum of two players are required and each player is set up within a box marked by 4 discs. The objective is for the players to make accureate passes, and while receiving the passes players need to maintain control of the ball within their box.

Pass and Attack

This is a really simple soccer drill that only requires two players and 1 ball. The players should be about 10 yards apart. The player with the ball starts the soccer drill by passing to the other player. After making the pass they run towards the other player as though they are applying defensive pressure.

Argentina Circle Passing - #3

This soccer drill is another variation of the Argentina Circle passing drills. It requires players to be in groups of three with one soccer ball per group. In this variation, all three players start on the outside of the circle. One player starts with the ball and dribbles to the center of the circle and then makes a pass to one of the other two players.
